1000 Paces (abridged)

Two figures stand at the center of the frame, back to back. Each takes 1000 paces away from one another and then attempts to meet back where they began.

Playing on the idea of a duel we attempt meet half way. Rather than turn and shoot, we reverse the action, calling a truce. We move backwards, without sight, trying to find one another at a common point.

Despite our romantic and gallant fights, life goes on; people walk by, seagulls squawk, the wind blows, and time passes.
